Incredible
Gems - Katy Morton Designs
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
My family and I are fortunate to
visit a lot of places and to
meet a lot of people.
Incredible Gems are special
people and/or places we have had
the good fortune to meet or
visit. Incredible Gems are those
that really stand out. |

“We had
two
graduations
this
year.
Add
buying a
home and
moving
to it
the same
week
while
maintaining
our
hectic
work
schedules
and
there
was
absolutely
no way I
could do
justice
to the
decorating
the way
I wanted
to! A
dear
Toastmaster
friend
in the
Southeast
part of
the
state
has a
niece
who has
a
business
on the
main
street
of
Brownville.
Her name
is Katy
Morton.
Here is
the work
that she
and
her
business
partner,
Renee
Danielson,
did for
Sarah
and
Spencer.
Most
importantly—she
made
things
that
they
could
reuse
afterwards
if they
desired.
Sarah
has her
banner
hanging
in her
room. We
used the
cubes on
the
tables
to
encourage
attendees
to write
words of
encouragement
to the
kids and
distributed
their
wallet
photos
to those
who
attended
after
the
photos
were
temporarily
lost in
the
transit
of
moving!
Now the
cubes
are
great
for
holding
notes on
our
office
desks.
The
photos
boards
worked
great at
graduation
for
people
to
“remember”
the good
ole’
days but
also
work
great as
I travel
with my
2011
Mother
of the
Year
talk
called
Motherhood
Elevated.
I
definitely
suggest
stopping
in to
see Katy
the next
time you
are in
Brownville.
It is in
the
group of
stores
on Main
Street.
You
can’t
miss it.
Check
out the
fancy
hair
ribbon
for that
special
little
girl in
your
life,
purchase
a
beautiful
handmade
greeting
card or
two for
the
people
you need
to send
a
greeting—tell
her
Charlotte
sent
you!” |
