"My husband and I were able to step away from the crowd and enjoy the sweetness of Uncle Buck's Ranch.  It's a ten thousand-acre working cattle ranch found in Brewster, NE.  We truly enjoyed our stay at their 14,000-square-foot guest lodge.  The guest rooms are named for the historic families of Brewster and are decorated with items that tell the histories of those families which was so very interesting for the history buff!  Each room opened to their deck and a beautiful scenic view.  It was so wonderfully peaceful and quiet.  As we took our dog for a walk he kept listening for the noises of the city, even he was mystified by the quietness!

Never before have we been treated to not only a scrumptious breakfast but also a huge supper upon arrival...but that's what we found at Uncle Buck's!  A pork roast meal with home made dinner rolls that melted in your mouth.  Our dinner guests included other guests at the lodge.  We had a good time chatting with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hall.  We used to watch Larry on the television news!  They are now writing a book and love to travel too so we had lots to chat about.  If we'd had more time we could have taken part in more of the ranch activities to learn and discover the real cowboy in each of us.  Next time!"  Kevin, Charlotte and "Teddy" Endorf - March 1, 2009
