2011
Nebraska
Mother
of the
Year, I
am being
asked to
ride in
many
parades.
At first
I tried
to make
the
signs by
myself
for the
cars I
would
ride
in. It
was
difficult.
I did
not want
to harm
the
paint
and I
wanted
the
signs to
look
professional.
This
week I
noticed
a store
in
Cozad.
It had a
variety
of items
available
to its
customers.
From hot
tub
needs to
pool
cues!
They
also
embroidery
t-shirts,
bags and
caps. I
was
amazed
at their
quality.
I
noticed
their
bill
board
stating
they
specialized
in
magnetic
signs!
High
winds
and
heavy
rain
slowed
me down
on the
Interstate
keeping
me
overnight
in the
same
motel
two
nights
in a
row.
So, I
stopped
in the
store
when I
had some
extra
time
before
my talk
yesterday.
The
mother/daughter
team
(Sylvia
&
Brooke)
professionally
whipped
together
two of
the
neatest
magnetic
signs I
could
imagine.
I was
able to
help
them
design
what I
had in
mind on
their
computer.
The
price
was very
reasonable.
I walked
my dog,
Teddy—and
they
were
ready in
a
jiffy!
I was
able to
use them
on my
car
before
my talk
and
received
lots of
positive
comments.
I will
utilize
them
also in
parades.
They are
located
in the
western
part of
the
state
but
shipping
is
reasonable.
This is
a great
place to
get
QUALITY
products.
Brooke
is just
a junior
in high
school.
As
mother
of the
year, it
was such
a joy to
see this
mother/daughter
team
enjoying
their
summer
together
as
friends
like my
daughter
and I do
when we
are
together.
Cherish
each
day.
That is
what
life is
all
