Incredible
Gems - Parmele House B&B
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
My family and I are fortunate to
visit a lot of places and to
meet a lot of people.
Incredible Gems are special
people and/or places we have had
the good fortune to meet or
visit. Incredible Gems are those
that really stand out. |

“Historic
downtown
Plattsmouth
was most
fun to
discover,
park,
shop and
just
stroll.
I had
the time
of my
life
meeting
new
people
and
listening
to the
good
music
being
broadcast
overhead
as I
walked
around
to
stretch
my legs
after my
long
drive.
The
weather
was
perfect.
I just
couldn’t
have
asked
for
anything
better.
Until I
checked
into my
Bed &
Breakfast!
There I
met
Carroll,
and
stayed
in her
historic
Charles
C.
Parmele
house.
| |
|
|
I truly
enjoyed
the cozy
&
comfortable
quarters
of the
Mayor’s
Room.
Breakfast
was
phenomenal.
A guest
from
Hollywood,
CA dined
with me
who had
immigrated
from
Spain
and was
rejoined
with his
daughter
after 12
years.
We had a
great
conversation.
He works
for an organization who rescues animals in CA.

My books
of
immigration
(By
Train
They
Came
Series)
and
animal
rescue
(They
Call Me
Teddy)
were
right up
his
alley!
I
couldn’t
get
enough
of the
downtown
shopping
and went
back for
even
more the
next
morning.
I found
Wild
Horse
Antiques
and
Everything’s
$1 that
Carroll
had
suggested.
I
enjoyed
both
tremendously.
I’ll
definitely
be back
to
Plattsmouth
as soon
as
possible.
I’d
suggest
you plan
a trip
there
too.
This is
definitely
a
priceless
Incredible
Gem.” |
