Don’t
Quit
When
things
go wrong
as they
sometimes
will,
When
the road
you’re
trudging
seems
all up
hill,
When the
funds
are low
and the
debts
are
high,
And
you want
to
smile,
but you
have to
sigh,
When
care is
pressing
you down
a bit,
Rest if
you
must,
but
don’t
you
quit.
Life is
queer
with its
twists
and
turns,
As
everyone
of us
sometimes
learns,
And
many a
failure
turns
about
When he
might
have won
had he
stuck it
out;
So
don’t
give up,
though
the pace
seems
slow –
For
you may
succeed
with
another
blow.
Often
the goal
is
nearer
than
it
seems to
a fain
and
faltering
man,
Often
the
struggler
has
given
up,
When he
might
have
captured
the
victor’s
cup.
And
he
learned
too late
when the
night
slipped
down,
How
close he
was to
the
golden
crown.
Success
is
failure,
turned
inside
out,
The
silver
tint of
the
clouds
of
doubt.
And
you
never
can tell
how
close
you are,
It
may be
near
when it
seems
afar;
So
stick to
the
fight
when
you’re
hardest
hit,
It’s
when
things
seem
worst
that you
mustn’t
quit.

“I truly
enjoyed
my stay
and
recommend
this Bed
and
Breakfast
to all
traveling
the
Interstate
of
Eastern
Nebraska.
It’s an
exceptional
retreat
for
authors.
As you
can see
by the
photo,
it’s a
beautiful
newer
dream
home.
Time
spent on
the back
porch in
white
rockers
chatting
with
fellow
author
and
Innkeeper
Jeanne
Kae Hain
Wiemer
was a
sheer
delight.
We found
that we
share so
many
interests
and have
so much
in
common.
The
plaque
“Don’t
Quit”
has
definitely
been
applicable
to both
our
lives.
However,
we both
share
positive
attitudes
and
prayer
to
overcome
and
achieve…
I’m so
proud of
her son
who is
slightly
younger
than my
daughter
Sarah.
He was
nearly
electrocuted.
He has
endured
and
overcome.
A recent
graduate,
he
scored
very
high on
his ACT
and will
be
attending
Doane
College
with a
very
nice
scholarship.
After
our chat
I
enjoyed
some
much
needed
“retreat”
time. A
whirlpool
followed
by
watching
a great
show on
the
history
channel
were a
real
treat.
I
enjoyed
a room
that any
Husker
fan
would be
thrilled
to stay
in! A
Legos
Memorial
Stadium
and
awesome
framed
photo
were
special
compliments.
Scrumptious
cookies
were
wolfed
down as
I got
comfy
and
settled
in for a
nice,
peaceful
rest.
It was
SO
peaceful
in fact
that I
slept
right up
until
the time
of
breakfast!
Breakfast
was as
super as
that
comfy
bed.
There
were
absolutely
no
complaints.
Everything
was
perfect.
I’d
highly
suggest
your
visit
here and
check
the
website
soon for
Jeanne’s
latest
book!” –
