“As I
travel,
I’m
fortunate
to be
able to
stay in
lots of
wonderful
places.
I’d
scheduled
to stay
in
Farewell
back in
May with
my
daughter
on my
way home
from a
speaking
engagement
in
western
Nebraska.
Things
ran lots
later
than I
anticipated
causing
me to
juggle
things
around.
I’m glad
they
worked
out like
they
did. My
husband
was then
able to
enjoy
the
incredible
beauty
of
Farwell
Arms
with me
on our
23rd
Anniversary.
Tina,
the
Innkeeper,
loves
dogs
like we
do. We
hit it
off
immediately
when we
were
introduced
to her
current
rescue
dog
project.
Like me,
she must
juggle
many
hats.
She does
so with
ease as
other
customers
came to
look at
the home
for a
potential
upcoming
party,
just as
we were
snuggling
the
rescue
puppies.
It’s one
of the
largest
Bed and
Breakfast’s
in the
state of
Nebraska
with hot
tubs all
over the
place.
So, so
many
options!
Glancing
through
the
album to
see how
the home
was
completely
restored
was
inspiring.
This
wasn’t a
simple
project.
This
restoration
included
turning
it
completely
around
on its
foundation
for a
better
view.
Wedding
photos
were
phenomenal
from
here.
We had a
Victorian
wedding
so this
Victorian
home
seemed
the
perfect
place to
wake up
on our
23rd
wedding
anniversary.
The huge
porch
with
music
playing
inside
and out
is very,
very
special.
Lights
are
turned
low for
a
romantic
feeling.
This
home has
so many
things
on the
walls
that you
feel
like
you’re
in a
museum
and
could
honestly
look for
days.
Lots of
train
items
caught
my
attention.
Tina
used to
have a
bichon
so she
now has
a copy
of They
Call Me
Teddy.
Family
reunion
options
are
endless
with pet
and
child
friendly
rooms.
I grew
up in a
town the
size of
Farwell.
I love
to see
the
furniture
store on
main
street
that has
been
passed
down
many
generations.
The
local
gathering
place is
their
local
tavern
for a
cup of
coffee
in the
morning,
a game
of cards
in the
afternoon
and a
good
meal in
the
evening.
Joseph
and Tina
have had
the
foresight
to help
keep
small
town
America
alive
with
this
gorgeous
Bed and
Breakfast
where
she soon
plans to
host a
monthly
get-together
for area
church
ladies.
Options
are
really
limited
to her
imagination
in such
a
beautiful
Incredible
Gem!”
