“Our
family
had the
sincere
pleasure
of
staying
at
Dempster’s
Woods
Bed &
Breakfast.
We
recall
it being
such a
pleasurable
time as
we got
together
with
longtime
friends
on their
huge
front
porch to
chat and
‘catch
up’.
Our
children
being
the same
ages
enjoyed
the
family
friendly
setting
for the
evening.
As
another
of our
books
was just
published,
my
husband
and I
treated
ourselves
to a
night
away
after
the
Nebraska
Writers
Guild
Spring
Writers
Conference.
Again,
we truly
enjoyed
our time
at Ken
and
Sandy
Lefever’s
bed and
breakfast
, now
listed
on the
National
Register
of
Historical
Places.
We
remembered
the tin
ceilings
and the
unique
stain
glass.
This
time we
also
loved
the
Jacuzzi
tub. I
took
advantage
of a
massage
by
appointment
which
was
sheer
bliss.
In our
room I
noticed
a note
on the
door
telling
about
hospitality.
That’s
the ‘key
word’ at
this
location.
We’d
brought
‘good
for you
salad
and
fresh
fruit’
along so
we could
just
read and
chill in
our
wonderful
surroundings
without
having
to move
one more
time
that
day.
The room
was
adequately
set up
for this
with a
table
and two
chairs.
Our bed
was so
ultimately
comfortable.
We slept
like
babies.
The
icing on
the cake
was the
French
country
breakfast.
It’s so
easy to
find
just 20
minutes
south of
the I-80
York
exit and
reasonably
priced,
a
definite
Incredible
Gem.”
